We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Fullstack Engineer with deep expertise in Node.js and React.js to join our fast-growing technology team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will architect, design, and develop scalable solutions while guiding a high-performing engineering team. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise across the full stack, combined with leadership skills to drive engineering excellence, mentor developers, and collaborate closely with product and design teams.

As a Lead Fullstack Engineer, you will be at the forefront of building robust, high-performance applications that deliver seamless user experiences and scalable backend services.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

Lead end-to-end design and development of scalable fullstack applications using Node.js (backend) and React.js (frontend).
Define and enforce engineering standards, code quality practices, and technical best practices.
Drive architectural decisions, ensuring solutions are secure, reliable, and optimized for performance.
Evaluate and integrate new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance product capabilities.

Hands-on Development

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across front-end and back-end layers.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and real-time services.
Implement state management solutions in React.js such as Redux, Context API, or Recoil.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and optimal user experience.
Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and optimize queries for performance and scalability.

Collaboration & Mentorship

Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and QA to deliver features aligned with business needs.
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation.
Lead code reviews, technical discussions, and provide constructive feedback.
Partner with DevOps teams to manage CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployments.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to propose improvements.
Drive initiatives for automation, performance optimization, and system reliability.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence within the engineering team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 8+ years in fullstack development with strong expertise in Node.js and React.js.
Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and ES6+ concepts.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
Proficiency in state management libraries (Redux, Context API, etc.).
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design principles.
Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities with a track record of mentoring teams.
