Key Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day admissions process for incoming residents.
• Evaluate admission referrals to ensure appropriate placement based on medical, clinical, and financial criteria.
• Tracks weekly admission inquiries/referrals and maintains the waiting list of potential residents.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including hospital case managers, social workers, and community agencies.
• Provides support to residents and family members and works hard to provide a positive admissions process.
• Provides facility tours for potential residents and families.
• Welcomes new residents and provides new residents and family orientation.
• Completes forms timely and accurately in accordance with laws, regulations and facility guidelines.
Qualifications
• Strong computer skills: experience with PointClickCare and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a compassionate approach to resident care and family support.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in a health care setting is required; marketing, admissions, and sales experience preferred.
