Description

Presents and serves food as needed. Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

  • Help with set up and clean up of work areas, including dishes, food service equipment and utensils. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining service areas cleanliness.
  • Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations, stoves and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
  • Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
  • Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards. Removes trash and places it into designated containers.
  • Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, worktables & other food prep surfaces; wash dishes, pans, utensils by hand and/or dish machine.
  • Serves students and customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service. Relays relevant information to supervisor.
  • Ensures compliance with company service standards and with all sanitation and safety standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
