Collaborate with the sales team and clients to understand business requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, and cost-effective technical solutions utilizing IBM products and services.
Design detailed solution architectures for complex engagements across Digital Transformation, Integration, Data & AI, Middleware, and System Engineering.
Ensure proposed solutions align with client needs, industry best practices, and IBM's technology roadmap.

Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, solution overviews, and product demonstrations to prospective clients, adapting content for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Showcase the value proposition of IBM solutions in addressing specific client challenges and opportunities.

Design, plan, and execute Proofs of Concept (POCs) to demonstrate the technical viability and business value of proposed solutions.
Document POC outcomes and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders.

Provide expert technical input and content for proposals, RFPs (Request for Proposals), RFIs (Request for Information), and Statements of Work (SOWs).
Work closely with the Presales Manager and Service Delivery Manager to ensure technical accuracy and completeness of all client-facing documentation.

Maintain deep technical expertise in relevant IBM technologies and their applications in solving real-world business problems.
Stay current with new IBM product releases, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
Contribute to the development of presales collateral, demo environments, and best practices.

Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
Effectively address client technical queries and concerns throughout the sales cycle.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in a presales, solution architecture, or senior technical consulting role, preferably within an IBM-focused environment.
Demonstrable hands-on experience and strong technical knowledge of IBM software and/or hardware products in at least three of the following areas:

Digital Transformation: Cloud Pak for Integration, Hybrid Cloud, Automation.
Integration: API Connect, MQ, App Connect, DataPower.
Data & AI: Db2, Cloud Pak for Data, Watson AI, SPSS, Planning Analytics.
Middleware: WebSphere Application Server, Liberty, BPM, ODM.
System Engineering: IBM Z, LinuxONE, Power Systems (AIX/IBM i/Linux), Storage.

Proven track record of participating in successful sales cycles and contributing to deal closures.

Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift).
Proficiency with various operating systems (Linux, AIX, z/OS, Windows).
Familiarity with database concepts and technologies.
Experience with scripting or programming languages relevant to IBM products (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Shell Scripting) is a plus.
