Job Scope

As a Hygiene Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety across our resort. You will oversee the implementation of hygiene policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local regulations, international standards, and IHG brand requirements. Your contribution will directly support the well-being of our guests and colleagues, and uphold our reputation as a 5-star destination.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Monitoring hygiene and sanitation standards in all food production, storage, and service areas.
Conducting regular inspections of kitchens, stewarding, and other relevant departments.
Ensuring compliance with HACCP, local health regulations, and IHG standards.
Coordinating pest control activities and maintaining records.
Training and coaching colleagues on hygiene and food safety practices.
Preparing audit reports and following up on corrective actions.
Supporting the kitchen and stewarding teams in maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment.

What we need from you

Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 1 years’ experience in hygiene/food safety within the hospitality industry.
Knowledge of HACCP, ISO standards, and local health regulations.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to train and influence others effectively.
Proactive, responsible, and committed to maintaining the highest hygiene standards.
