Auditor | Internal Audit Team | Full Time | Preston

Salary £35,235 - £39,513 per annum | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | County Hall, Preston

We are looking for an Auditor to join our established Internal Audit team. Together, we’re building a dynamic, forward-thinking service that plays a vital role in supporting not only the Council but also a wide range of valued external clients. 

As an Auditor, you will: 

• Deliver a portfolio of audits as part of the Services plan and produce comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations 

• Support high standards of governance by evaluating and improving risk management.  

• Collaborate with stakeholders and data specialists to develop innovative ways of working and best practice.  

What we are looking for: 

• A detail-oriented and analytical professional with experience delivering high-quality, insightful audit work. 

• A strong communicator and collaborator who can engage effectively with stakeholders, contribute to audit planning, and present findings clearly both in writing and verbally. 

• A proactive learner and team player who is eager to develop professionally, contribute to continuous improvement, and support the wider audit team.
