A little more about your role…

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Pre and post contract commercial aspects of projects ranging in size and complexity.
Have proven organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Are not afraid to challenge the status quo, to try innovative solutions and learn from past experiences.
Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Having previous experience of working in a Commercial management or consulting role would be an advantage, particularly within the environment, infrastructure, or transport sectors.
Have a good understanding of Method of Measurement for Highway Works and CESMM.
Have a good understanding of the ECC forms of Contract.

YOUR TEAM

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in our Communities business, focused on the delivery of services to Rhondda Cynon Taff, Bridgend and Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Councils. The successful award of a new contract and the increase in service requests for construction and procurement support requires us to grow to meet future needs. The Construction team includes Quantity Surveyors, Site Supervisors and NEC Project Managers and plays a vital part in delivering projects to improve local communities.
