EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERENCES

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented, highly motivated and a strong work ethic
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Able to navigate efficiently the different social media sites and the web space

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Assist the Human Resource Department by providing first level support answering Human Resources (HR) related inquiries at the direction of the Director, Human Resources and the Manager, Recruitment. Maintain positive communications with candidates and new hires.  Constantly project a positive image of the CBE US and Philippines offices and the company through a professional approach and appearance.  Play a vital role as one of the key players in CBE’s Human Resources Team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support for the HR department both in the US and Philippines which will consist of the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Conduct reference checks, educational checks, and employment verifications for prospective employees that conform to our background check procedures. Ensure that the appropriate background check(s) are conducted and completed in a timely manner.
  • Assist with, conduct and interpret criminal checks for prospective employees that conform to our background check procedures.
  • Assist with, conduct and interpret other background checks as needed, including but not limited to List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) provided by the Department of Health and Human Services and The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of the Treasury.
  • Review the background check report and advise HR teams that the final candidate is cleared with the background check, deliver accurate and timely reporting of background check status of candidates.
  • Assist in the scanning and maintenance of employee electronic personnel file and Philippine 201 folders. 
  • Ensure that new employee paperwork is accurate and up to date.
  • Track and coordinate with Recruiting Team on the completion of employee files for new hires and existing employees.
  • Assist in drafting and sending offer letters to potential candidates.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings and interviews on team’s calendars
  • Assist in tracking employee survey data/analytics such as referral bonuses, contests, company outreach, etc.
  • Assist with providing HR support including answering telephone calls, employees’ inquiries, and completing regular HR reports as required.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining HRIS personnel information. Verify accuracy of data and make necessary corrections.
  • Knowledgeable about the benefits that CBE offers to our employees.
  • Gain a clear understanding of all CBE policies and procedures. Review and understand all HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform other position-related duties as assigned by the Director, Human Resources and Manager, Recruitment.
  • May be assigned projects or tasks that contribute to personal and professional development and to support achievement of goals

    • Must be able to exchange accurate information with co-workers, consumers and/or clients or vendors who have work related inquiries.
