Roles & responsibilities
•Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders of Department of Professional Practice (DPP) at US •Stay on top of and following current developments at the IASB and FASB •Assist in IFRS and US GAAP DPP projects including but not limited to updating handbooks, developing and updating training material etc. •Be well versed with financial statements preparation process, including related notes, disclosures accompanied with building templates/ guidance. •Assist in ongoing maintenance/ improvement of information structure on internal website on technical guidance •Develop self by participating in and developing others by facilitating accounting conceptual trainings and ensuring that team members are trained •Ensure that the work is planned and organized and perform upfront / postmortem reviews on deliverables to ensure Quality and timely delivery of work with efficiency, proactively communicate issues and progress •Should be able to guide the juniors and assist the senior team members in DPP India team, on need basis.Mandatory technical & functional skills
•International GAAP knowledge (IFRS, US GAAP etc.) •IT savvy, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point •Working knowledge of new/ emerging technologies such as power BI, Alteryx etc. will be beneficial •Strong English communication abilities (Oral & Written) •Should possess strong project management skillsKey behavioural attributes/requirements
•Should have a technical bent of mind •Be a quick learner and a self-starter •Be able to demonstrate adaptability to changeBe able to work independently and as a part of the team

Educational qualifications
•CA/CPA/ ACCA (shall hold membership)Work experience
•4-6 years of post-qualification experience in in applying/ implementing IFRS and/or US GAAP along with strong articleship experience from a mid-size or Big4 firmSenior Associate 2 DPP Accounting Group
