•Lead audit fieldwork for various business processes, including planning and executing substantive tests (e.g., revenue, receivables, cost of sales).

•Design and document audit programs—define objectives, risk procedures, sampling methods, and extent of testing.

•Review and coach junior assistants’ workpapers, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to US GAAP, IFRS accounting as well as PCAOB audit standards.

•Conduct walkthroughs and internal control testing (including tests of design and operating effectiveness, where relevant), and draft control narratives and flowcharts.

•Perform audits of conversions and reconciliations, e.g., US GAAP ↔ IFRS, updated opening balances, spin-off or acquisition adjustments.

•Assist on transaction-specific engagements, such as comfort letters, agreed-upon procedures, IFRS/PCAOB reviews, registration statements.

•Support SOX 404 / internal control testing, including IT general controls (ITGC) and application control walkthroughs.

•Draft and communicate audit findings, including errors in financials, control deficiencies, and improvement points, to onshore managers and specialists.

•Coordinate with onshore audit teams in Switzerland, ensuring timely responses and resolution of technical accounting, disclosure, and SEC-related matters.

•Contribute to training and knowledge-sharing initiatives, develop audit methodology materials, and help facilitate internal training sessions.

This role is for you if you have  the below

Educational qualifications

•Degree in Commerce / Degree or Diploma in Finance or Accounting. •Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. CA/ACCA/US CPA). •Additional certifications (if any)
 

Work experience

•Between 2-5 years of recent audit experience (PCAOB & US GAAP, PCAOB & IFRS) either with KPMG or another Big 4 firm. •Work experience in PCAOB audits and IFRS. •Industry Specific Experience is preferable.

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

•In depth knowledge of external Audit for corporate and/or international clients. •PCAOB and IFRS accreditation. •Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments.

Preferred technical & functional skills

•Proficiency/Working knowledge of Adobe Professional would be an added advantage. •Proficient English skills (German or other foreign languages are a plus). •Experience of auditing using Data Analytics tools.
