A Day in the Life

In this exciting role as a Senior Advanced Analytics Analyst, you will have responsibility for developing and implementing compliant regulatory informatics within the Surgical OU Regulatory organization. 

Operating Unit

Our Surgical OU is one new, powerful operating unit bringing together the people and product portfolio of Surgical Innovations and Surgical Robotics. We'll approach the market with a unified approach from concept single strategy, capitalize on our global commercial capabilities, and prove the power of our combined portfolio.

With the Medtronic Mission as our North Star, we will build on our legacy of proven surgical solutions and advance the promise of robotics and digital solutions for the benefit of Medtronic and the customers and patients we serve

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned

  • Regulatory data analysis
  • Liason with OU Regulatory to ensure accurate application of processes and assignment of data attributes
  • Reporting of regulatory data/ metrics
  • Setting up Power BI Dashboards, Smartsheets, hyperautomation solutions
  • Streamline Processes through use of Artificial Intelligence.
  • Data Steward of RIMS, GIC, tenders – ensures accuracy of data

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor degree; Engineering or Science degrees preferred
  • 7+ years quality assurance experience in medical or pharmaceutical industry
  • Familiarity with medical device Quality Management System requirements (e.g., US 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485:2016, Regulation (EU) 2017/745)
  • Experience running data queries and reports in software applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team oriented environment
  • Agile PLM knowledge/experience
  • Ability to work independently once trained
  • Ability to be proactive and lead initiatives
  • Ability to multitask.
