Food & Beverage Assistant Key Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive a warm, friendly welcome and attentive service throughout their visit to our restaurant, bar, and event areas.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently and professionally, maintaining high standards of presentation at all times.
• Support with setting up and clearing down tables, ensuring dining and service areas remain clean and inviting.
• Assist with stock control, replenishing food & beverage supplies as required.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries and feedback, ensuring every guest enjoys their experience.
• Work closely with kitchen and other hotel departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Adhere to food hygiene, health and safety, and hotel policies at all times.

Essential Skills And Experience For Food & Beverage Roles

• Previous experience in a food and beverage, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and a proactive, positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail, reliable, and punctual.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
