ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Graduate Engineer to join our Electrical team supporting our long-term Electrical scopes at throughout Western Australia.

As we embark on an exciting growth phase in our business across diverse sectors such as Transport, Defence, Resources, and Infrastructure, we offer you a unique opportunity to be part of our journey, working on a variety of projects that will challenge and inspire you.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Plan, organise, and execute assigned project tasks in line with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Support the allocation and use of resources throughout start-up, construction, and handover phases.
  • Monitor project progress through site inspections, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Apply commercial awareness by considering cost impacts and contributing to the profitability of projects.
  • Ensure scope of work is completed in accordance with contract obligations, budget, and quality guidelines.
  • Analyse issues and identify patterns, risks, and potential root causes.
  • Anticipate and address potential hazards through sound judgement.

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher Electrical Engineering, coupled with practical experience gained through vacation work or similar.  (You must be in your final year of study or have recently graduated).
  • A genuine enthusiasm for our field and a keen interest in hands-on projects, often in remote/regional areas of Australia.
  • Flexibility to work on a FIFO (Fly-In-Fly-Out) or DIDO (Drive-In-Drive-Out) roster from Perth.
  • Strong analytical skills, sound decision-making abilities, and a knack for creative problem-solving.
  • Resilience, diligence, and a steadfast commitment to safety in the workplace.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a passion for teamwork and the ability to thrive in diverse environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a natural strength in building positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency.
