Position Overview: Global Head of Software Sales

The Global Head of Software Sales will spearhead the strategic direction of the Software sales specialist team across various regions. This pivotal role emphasizes the cultivation of robust relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving significant revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the commercial landscape, alongside exceptional leadership capabilities and a proven track record in both new business development and the management of existing revenues.

Collaboration will be essential in this role, as it demands close partnership with product, marketing, finance, legal, and implementation teams to align strategies and messaging, ensuring seamless transitions throughout the client lifecycle. The Global Head of Software Sales will oversee a diverse portfolio of key solutions, including Corporate Actions, Regulatory Reporting (Cappitech), Tax Solutions, and Enterprise Data Management. Candidates must possess relevant experience in one or more of these areas to effectively drive strategy and deliver value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and develop the Global sales team through consistent coaching, personalized mentoring, and hands-on training.

  • Formulate and execute sales strategies that are in alignment with the overarching global sales objectives within the Software segment.

  • Drive growth across various business lines and meet global, regional, and initiative-specific sales targets by fostering and enhancing relationships with both new and existing clients.

  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with key decision-makers among prospective and current clients.

  • Partner effectively with the Software business head, alongside product management, marketing, and implementation leaders, to optimize messaging and ensure a cohesive approach in client interactions.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales strategies, maintain a strong focus on forecasting, and boost overall team performance.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market demands, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends to discover and seize new business opportunities.

  • Act as the representative for the Software segment at industry conferences, forums, and thought leadership events, enhancing the company's visibility and reputation in the market.

What we are looking for:

  • 15 years+ of proven experience in sales leadership roles, successfully leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing sales teams while fostering a culture of accountability and growth.

  • In-depth knowledge of post-trade solutions, with a demonstrated ability to secure multi-million-dollar contracts through complex negotiations.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in core products within the Software Segment, including Corporate Actions, Tax Solutions, Regulatory Reporting, and Enterprise Data Management.

  • Strong comprehension of clients' utilization of managed services and workflow tools, particularly in the context of post-trade solutions.

  • A successful track record in managing teams across various functions, including operations, presales, client management, and sales.

  • Experienced in developing and executing strategies to attract new customers while effectively upselling within existing customer bases.

  • Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to streamline sales processes, ensure consistent messaging, and maintain transparency in sales performance.

  • Skilled in providing strategic guidance on intricate proposals, RFPs, and high-stakes sales engagements.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance brand awareness and drive lead generation campaigns.

  • Oversee all facets of the go-to-market strategy and commercialization efforts on a global scale.

  • Act as a commercial leader for strategic accounts, effectively managing multi-stakeholder engagements to drive business success.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the financial services landscape, including systems, workflows, and the application of post-trade solutions.
