Quality Technician

As part of the mission, the Quality Technician will be supporting incoming Quality and sampling inspection for critical assemblies.

Key responsibilities: 

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on optical components, mechanical fabricated parts, and cables.
• Conducting First Article Inspection on new assemblies, PCBA's and cables.
• Follow established sampling plans and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and logs.
• Document and report findings according to specifications.
• Assist engineers in investigating failures and defects in parts and components.
• Identify quality issues and recommend improvements to enhance inspection processes.
• Work closely with engineers and suppliers to resolve quality concerns.
• Support FPY improvement activities and determines root cause of Manufacturing low Yield / Quality issues.
• Incorporate continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of Job.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor based on business needs.

Requirements:  

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Quality inspection, Quality tech or related roles.
• ITE / Diploma or higher in engineering or equivalent.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, specifications and Manufacturing manuals.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
