• Specialists in Internal Medicine, Small Animal Surgery, Neurology, Medical & Surgical Oncology, Critical Care, Anaesthesia and Diagnostic Imaging
• After-hours Emergency Service
• In-house Diagnostic Lab, Ultrasound, Digital Radiography, CT, MRI & Endoscopy
• About the Internship
• You’ll work side-by-side with our Internal Medicine Specialists and experienced nursing team, collaborating with experts in other professional services. This is a hands-on role where you’ll:
• Participate in consultations, client communication, patient care, diagnostic procedures, daily hospital rounds and weekly journal clubs/case presentations
• Gain exposure to a broad range of complex and fascinating cases
• If eligible, be encouraged (and supported) to work towards ANZCVS Small Animal Medicine Membership

• What We’re Looking For
• You are a motivated, professional and enthusiastic veterinarian who:
• Is eligible for QLD veterinary registration
• Holds a current radiation licence
• Brings strong communication skills, a solid medical knowledge base, and a great work ethic
• Has clinical experience (desirable but not essential)

Internship Details

• Start date: January 2026
• Duration: 12 months (option to extend to 18 months)
