Position Summary

Position serves as lead staff specialist for the school level clinical financial reporting, analysis, integrations, allocations and special projects. Responsible for managing net revenue recognition and account receivable (AR) valuation related to patient revenue. This role requires strong data analytic skills, ability to learn new software programs, understand underlying model calculations, and implement practical solutions to complex problems. Prior experience with month-end close processes, including journal entries, and advanced Excel skills strongly preferred.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Leads, directs and oversees school level financial objectives including, but not limited to:

  • Integrations – Maintain, manage, and analyze Epic – Workday Integration as it relates to clinical revenues including all related reporting and revenue recognition requirements.
  • Net Revenue – Manage Kodiak Revenue Cycle Analytics (RCA) tool on daily and monthly basis to calculate AR valuation, along with producing analysis on Patient Net Revenue projections.
  • Accounting – Complete reconciliation related to Patient Revenues. Review the integrity and quality of general ledger reporting, including the Foundation Data Model, preparing needed journal entries, and auditing of financial data.
  • Analysis - Provides recommendations to senior leadership related to results of ad hoc and other special projects as assigned.
  • Reporting - Gathers data requirements for new reporting needs and tests reports created by the financial reporting team.
  • Allocations - Create, maintain, manage, and analyze financial allocation results.
  • Planning - Prepare budgets, forecasting, and financial models.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$65,900.00 - $112,700.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
