The Interim Community Life Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing services that enhance the lives of individuals. This involves ensuring compliance with regulations, overseeing staff, and evaluating the effectiveness of the programs. They also work with stakeholders to coordinate services and advocate for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing curriculum to meet the needs of the individuals, including developing program objectives and evaluation methods.
- Hiring, training, supervising, evaluating day program staff.
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations related to developmental disabilities programs.
- Coordinating with other providers to ensure comprehensive services for the individuals supported by InCommunity.
- Developing and managing program budgets, often in conjunction with the leadership of the organization.
- Monitoring program effectiveness, conducting utilization reviews, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
- Serving as an advocate for individuals, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are protected.
- Ensuring all documentation and billing is submitted and completed.
- Ensures the Program Development and Service Delivery: Design, develops, provides and evaluates EmployAbility/Supported Employment.
- Ensures that the Chief Program Officers is updated regarding any issues/concerns regarding residential supports and services.
- Project Management: Manages the life cycle of a project from conception to completion
- Marketing and Outreach: Supports GCSS dba InCommunity marketing with communication and outreach strategies to attract program participants; promotes community awareness of EmployAbility support.
- Budget Management: Directs the use of EmployAbility funds in the most cost-effective and resourceful ways by forecasting, creating budgets, monitoring expenses, and evaluating financial resources. Maintains expenses in line with budget projections.
- Program Funding: Manages earned income funding and special program resource needs
- Strategic Program Planning: Provides input into GCSS's dba InCommunity strategy and develops annual goals/outcomes and program implementation plans based on the overall strategic plan
- Contract Management: Manages contracts for services and programs of EmployAbility; understands contractual committments for program services and reporting requirements; fulfills contractual requirements and agreements for EmployAbility deliverables.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages subordinate job coach (s). Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of job coaching. Also directly supervises two non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; preparing budgets and managing department resources; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
