ATI is currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our facility located in Richland, Washington. This role oversees quality engineering, quality control and production lab areas. The primary purpose of this job is to provide quality engineering leadership to meet company and customer quality requirements. This is a great role for you if you're an engineer with hands on quality systems experience, skilled at working with auditors, customers, and strengthening internal teams and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers on quality related issues
- Manages supervision, technical, and administrative employees responsible for Quality Standards Services activities
- Maintain quality system in accordance with company and TS/ISO requirements
- Responsible for ISO 9002/AS9100A international quality standards development, maintenance, improvement and surveillance
- Coordinate quality system audits with customer technical representatives and/or auditors during onsite visits; prepare and publish written reports of customer audits; solicit written cause and corrective action in regards to customer audit finding; prepare and issue direct written correspondence in reply to customer audit findings
- Coordinate NADCAP other third-party accreditation’s audits of ATI
- Prepare and publish reports of third party audit results; solicit written cause and corrective action in regard to third party findings; prepare and issue direct correspondence in reply to third party audit findings
- Assist in solving manufacturing problems
- Make disposition of non-conforming product
- Train other company personnel in quality related areas
- Develop and implement quality/productivity/cost reduction projects
- Develop, train, and evaluate department personnel in order to support the company’s engineering efforts
- Responsible for the Quality Management System
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical, metallurgical, material science, or other relevant engineering field required
- At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, quality systems, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing initiatives
- At least 5 years of management experience - this role will lead a team up to 13 direct reports
- Experience leading ISO Quality Management Systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) certified production lab environment
- Experience leading AS9100A Quality Management System
- Strong experience with change management

Salary Range: $120,000 to $150,000/annually +
