  • Logistics route planning with the budgeted logistics cost
  • Coordinates with Repair Centers and Centers for order delivery issues and coordinates equipment reverse logistics
JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Develops internal route plan and updates as per the bi-weekly orders
  • Provides communication to the Region Repair Center managers
  • Manages sub-contract transport vendor operations
  • Extracts and analyzes data from an ERP, EAM system, logistics/shipping software, and creates reports
  • Provides prompt follow up on shipping schedules and route issues to mitigate any field concerns
  • Oversees urgent field requests, responsible for making appropriate shipping arrangements as needed
  • Provides shipment tracking and corrects errors as needed to prevent field concerns
  • Provides key metric reporting for on-time delivery and order fulfilment rates
  • Coordinates delivery schedules
  • Maintains internal customer relationships and ensures timely responses to queries
  • Monitors truck PM, coordinates truck maintenance and safety audit
  • Coordinates with transport vendors for placing the trucks as per internal logistics route schedule and monitors the deliveries
  • Coordinates with repair center manager and drivers for safety, compliance, and truck operation risk mitigation process
  • Coordinates the truck equipment and software availability to regional repair center
  • Routes all same and next day deliveries according to established logistic metrics by region or area
  • Utilizes recommended routing plan based on available resources to optimize routes and delivery personnel
  • Communicates to the branches regarding time frames and any other work order issues that negatively impact the routing of a delivery
  • Monitors a driver's progress during the day and communicates back to the branch level any issues related to impacting missed time windows
  • Coordinates with region repair center manager on all action plans that would ensure driver compliance with targeted financial objectives
  • Complies with and adheres to all regulatory compliance areas, policies, procedures, and "best practices" according to Logistics, DOT, ACHC, and local state labor laws
  • Ensures proper service levels are met and communicates with the servicing branch of undeliverable order and/or service failure
  • Reviews all undeliverable orders and directs them to the appropriate parties for immediate/expanded follow up
  • Demonstrates professional etiquette and courtesy when interfacing with customers and branches regarding issues that impacts the ability of the dispatcher to effectively route a work order to a driver in the field
  • Some travel may be required
Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management or logistics OR two years of related experience and/or training
Work Experience
  • 2 years in logistics, route planning, and distribution center operations, Required
  • Analytical tools (Tableau, Power BI, or others)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • In-depth background in distribution, shipping methods, and familiar with logistics/route planning
  • Analytic, problem-solving, and quantitative
  • Effective oral communication to collaborate with Internal customers Repair/Warehouse
    Managers, carriers, and suppliers
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Office including Word, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Order processing systems and Database software
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and planning
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
  • Manages escalation, internal customer situations
  • Meets commitments
