- Lead and coordinates project activities and routine application support with stakeholders in IT and the business.
- Oversee the design and implementation and overall architecture of the OMS and associated applications.
- Work with the IT OMS and Integration partner teams to implement a robust set of services.
- Identifies business requirements and creates a plan of action.
- Work with the OMS, broader IT team, and business users to optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Coordinate with the Vendors, System Integrators, Product Designers and architects to translate requirements into technology solutions
- Leads integration of front-end and back-end aspects of the application.
- Act as the requirements governance lead coordinating with the Distribution Control Center and other business stakeholders through the planning and implementation process.
- Plan and provide Steering committee updates for qualifying projects.
- Provide training and demonstration to OMS users as required.
- Exercise responsibilities as the OMS technical lead, developing solutions to business needs and resolving issues as they occur.
- Provide OMS storm and weather event support services. Serve as the OMS Unit leader on rotation.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental policies, EEO, Standards of Business Conduct, and all other applicable company policy and procedures.
- Master's Degree Computer Science, Math/Science, or Engineering and (2) years of IT experience orWorking experience in supporting IT infrastructure of a large user base, focused on Software engineering or
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Math/Science, or Engineering and (3) years of IT experience orWorking experience in supporting IT infrastructure of a large user base, focused on Software engineering or
- Associate's Degree Computer Science, Math/Science, or Engineering and (4) years of IT experience orWorking experience in supporting IT infrastructure of a large user base, focused on Software engineering or
- High School Diploma/GED and (5) years of IT experience orWorking experience in supporting IT infrastructure of a large user base, focused on Software engineering
- Must have ability to learn new technology as required for the job using documentation and other available resources Required
- Experience of leadership and hands-on project management experience Required
- Must be able to lead team activities, perform project management functions and deliver complex and critical projects. Required
- Strong skills and experience with MS Office or similar suite. Word Excel, PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project. Required
- Anticipate, identify and manage resolutions of critical obstacles Required
- Able to act as a coach and mentor for assigned team members with the ability to transfer knowledge to various audiences. Required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills Required
- Flexibility to work on multiple assignments with changing priorities and stay on schedule/on budget Required
- Ability to present at different levels of management Required
- Experience in troubleshooting data flow components and applications to ensure seamless operation Required
- Ability to write and Optimize database queries to extract and manipulate data efficiently Required
- Experience in evaluating and assessing technology architecture components for optimal performance Required
- Strong knowledge of Network management systems, Electric Model administration Preferred
- Knowledge of architecture and programming/scripting experience are highly Preferred
- Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines
- Develops and delivers effective presentations
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Driver's License Required
- Sit or stand to answer a phone for the duration of the workday
- Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
