The Business Development Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Sales Development team with an emphasis on identifying and engaging potential leads, targets, and prospects. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong professional networks, cultivating valued customer relationships, and contributing to the growth of business opportunities.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:
·    Support all aspects of requests for proposals (RFPs) and internal support requests.
·    Collaborate closely with the sales representatives’ team to schedule and coordinate external appointments.
·    Conduct routine outbound outreach activities to generate appointments and engage prospective leads.
·    Perform research and gather background information on new prospects, providing actionable insights to the
·    Sales Development team.
·    Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to meet evolving business needs.
·    Review, proofread, and edit written materials in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel to ensure accuracy and quality.
·    Draft clear and effective written communications, including outreach messaging and proposal content.
·    Apply critical thinking to proactively identify and implement solutions to drive sales development efforts.
·    Develop compelling messaging to effectively engage prospective leads.
·    Test and analyze various outreach approaches to determine the most effective strategies.
·    Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
·    Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
·    Minimum of 2+ years of work experience within Sales Development
·    Previous experience as a Business Development Specialist in a related industry.
·    Previous experience with a CRM system such as Salesforce
·    Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel 

Knowledge & Experience:
·    Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed set targets.
·    Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
·    Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.
·    Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
·    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary Range: 
The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $47,777 and $57,333 annually. Pay is based on qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. We consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with applicable law.
