The Gary W. Rollins College of Business is seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager of Marketing and Communications to lead efforts in enhancing the College’s visibility and reputation. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, managing digital and print communications, and overseeing the College’s online presence—including its website and social media platforms. The Manager will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to attract prospective students, promote academic programs, and engage current students and alumni.

This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and supervises the Communications Coordinator and student workers.

Marketing & Campaign Development 
Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns to support recruitment and engagement goals. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and vendors to create impactful materials and analyze campaign performance.

Digital & Social Media Strategy 
Lead social media strategy and paid ad campaigns. Manage website content to ensure alignment with branding and engagement goals.

Content Creation & Management
Write and curate content for websites, newsletters, press releases, and social media. Highlight achievements of students, faculty, and alumni.

Event Promotion & Branding 
Support event planning and promotion. Ensure branding consistency across all platforms and materials.

Leadership & Team Management 
Supervise and mentor staff and student workers. Provide training on marketing best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess the following: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to craft engaging content.
  • Expertise in social media management, including paid campaigns, platform analytics, and emerging trends.
  • Proficiency in digital tools, including content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and marketing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics).
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build consensus and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of branding and marketing strategy in higher education is desirable.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public relations, or related field and five years of progressively responsible experience in marketing and communications.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), SEO best practices, and digital advertising.
  • Experience with Meta and LinkedIn ad campaigns.
  • Advanced knowledge of brand management and communications strategy.
  • Proficiency in video production and editing tools.
