JOB SUMMARY: Oversee the management, operation, and integration of all the district’s application systems including Oracle ERP, Salesforce, State Reporting, Data Management, Custom web development, and the Student Information System (SIS). This role involves leading a dynamic team to ensure efficient, effective, and collaborative operations across various information systems and data services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe subsequent duties outline the fundamental operations of the position and exemplify the nature of the tasks carried out. 1.

Provide leadership and manage all aspects of support for the Student Information System (SIS) and related third-party applications.

Daily 15%

2.

Lead Business Information Systems (BIS) analysis, programming, day to day operations, system management and system design of the district’s Oracle Fusion ERP system.

3.

Data Governance, Management, and understanding of the district’s cloud-based Snowflake data warehouse. 

Daily 10%

4.

Ensure compliance with State Reporting Requirements and manage the reporting needs of the organization from multiple data types and sources. 

Daily 10%

5.

Provide Project Management and team leadership of Information Technology projects and initiatives that consist of multiple Agile teams and require integration with other teams and or systems in the district.

6.

Lead application development and integration with Microsoft .Net for critical student systems that support the district’s needs.

Daily 5%

7.

Support the district’s Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) product through technical support, integration, and database configuration.

8.

Manage and provide Artificial Intelligence (AI) Integration, technical support, and data science coordination.

Daily 5%

9.

Cybersecurity Management – Manage daily operations of risk analysis, incident response, and cybersecurity processes for the team. Ensure protection of district data, systems, and applications aligned with established frameworks, best practices and needs of the business.

10.

Manage relationships with Vendor and Stakeholder to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and solutions.

11.

Develop and establish application standards and procedures following Agile development methodologies.

12.

Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the organization's information systems and technology infrastructure.

13.

Assist Director in Financial Management of the budget for the IS department ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSThe minimum prerequisites of formal education, professional work experience, certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, trainings, and other criteria that a candidate must fulfill to be considered for a position. It is essential that certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, and trainings are fulfilled, valid, and not expired.

  • Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five (5) years of professional work experience 
  • Experience with AI technologies and their applications in education
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in K-12 education Student Information Systems
  • Familiarity with data analysis and machine learning tools
  • 5 to 7 years in a related field
  • Familiarity with state reporting with the Colorado Department of Education
  • Agile Scrum or XP management experience
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP system
