The Pharmacy Supervisor coordinates the pharmacy operations for a designated area within a hospital or home care. This position requires population specific competencies. The Pharmacy Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Supervises department staff, including hiring, staffing, evaluating performance and competency, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed * Researches problems in operational systems, and works toward resolution * Prepares reports concerning productivity, workforce levels, and quality assurance * Assists in the preparation of the departmental budget The Pharmacy Supervisor reports to the Manager Pharmacy and the Director Pharmacy or Administrator of Samaritan Home Care. This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Must follow standard precautions. * Current Oklahoma Pharmacy license * Masters degree or Pharmacy Doctorate degree preferred * 2 years experience as a registered pharmacist * 2 years experience in a management position within a Department of Pharmacy or completion of a Pharmacy Practice residency from an accredited program preferred * 15 hours of approved continuing education annually * Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
