POSITION TITLE:   Senior Data Analyst – Growth Organization

Position Summary:

The Senior Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in accelerating Onity’s organic growth by delivering data-driven insights focus on driving market analysis, supporting customer acquisition and retention initiatives, and guiding product innovation as well as platform enhancement efforts. The ideal candidate will combine a deep knowledge of mortgage lending and servicing with strong data analysis skills and a passion for enhancing customer experience. This role sits within the newly formed Growth Organization. It supports cross-functional initiatives that span Origination, Servicing, and enterprise functions. They will partner closely with Growth, Product, Marketing, Capital Markets, and Technology leaders to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and internal performance data to identify opportunities, optimize strategies, and measure impact. This is a high-visibility role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to communicate insights clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders.

Job Functions And Responsibilities (Streamlined):

  • Analyze internal and external data and conduct market, customer and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, assess trends and inform strategic decisions
  • Coordinate organization of and drive the analysis of Voice of the Customer data to develop recommendations for initiatives that enhance the customer experience
  • Support the development of value propositions, go-to-market strategies, and customer experience enhancements through insights on products, services, customer segments and emerging technologies
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for business leaders
  • Partner with Technology and Data Governance teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility
  • Contribute to the institutionalization of Growth as a process by embedding analytics into each stage of the growth lifecycle (Analyze → Design → Build → Implement → Operate)
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, models, and reporting tools to track key performance indicators related to customer acquisition, retention, and product performance.
  • Collaborate with Growth, Originations and Servicing teams to design and evaluate initiatives aimed at improving customer experience and engagement.

  • Organized, detailed analyses supporting department and company objectives 
  • Clear, actionable recommendations provided to leadership based on data-driven insights
  • Measurable impact on project delivery timelines and operational performance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative (e.g., Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Finance) 
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or reporting roles – ideally within mortgage industry with a good understanding of secondary markets, loan origination and servicing processes and products 
  • Working knowledge of mortgage economics and ability to navigate and develop a basic mortgage profitability model
  • Proven experience leading data/reporting projects with business-facing deliverables
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy) and financial modeling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to influence decisions through data
  • Self-starter with strong project ownership, initiative, and follow-through
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

TO BE FILLED OUT BY RECRUTING: The salary range for this position is expected to be $XX,000 – $YY,000 per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for [bonus] [commissions] [long-term incentive compensation awards] based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.
