About the Role:
As the Assistant Manager of Clinical Operations, you will play a vital role in supporting our Perioperative Units and enhancing the operations of our multidisciplinary healthcare team at IU Health Frankfort, White Memorial and Tipton Hospitals. 

This position will work Monday-Friday, day shift no weekend, holiday or call expectations. This role requires travel between the 3 hospital locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the unit Manager to develop and implement action plans focused on quality and safety improvements, care affordability, and enhancing patient and team member experiences.
  • Lead the execution of these action plans and systematically evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Contribute as a member of the interprofessional team, fostering an environment where the team is motivated to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and organizational excellence.
  • Advocate for and promote evidence-based practices and professional nursing standards to advance nursing practice.
  • Onboard and train new team members.
  • Participate as a member of the leadership team for a 24/7 operational unit, which includes responsibilities on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing. 
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required. 
  • Perioperative experience is preferred.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.   
  • Required Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.   
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
