Clinical Research Coordinator III
Job Description:The Neurology Aging, Behavioral & Cognitive Division is seeking a highly experienced Clinical Research Coordinator III to serve as the central point of coordination for study operations. This role ensures regulatory compliance, data integrity, and participant safety while supporting the research team in achieving its scientific objectives.
About This Role
The successful candidate will:
- Coordinate all day-to-day aspects of research studies involving mobility and
cognitive function, including recruitment, enrollment, scheduling, and follow-up of older
adult participants. - Assist in the setup and execution of study procedures such as gait assessments,
cognitive testing, or neuroimaging as applicable. Collect and record clinical and
research data through structured assessments, electronic databases, and case report
forms. Monitor data quality and completeness; assist with data entry, cleaning, and
validation. - Prepare and maintain study protocols, informed consent forms, and IRB
submissions and amendments. Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all
study activities. - Serve as the primary point of contact for research participants, ensuring informed
consent and addressing questions or concerns. Monitor for and report adverse events
or protocol deviations in accordance with regulatory and institutional guidelines. - Track study milestones, participant flow, and other key performance indicators.
Coordinate study meetings and communications among investigators, collaborators,
and sponsors.

Expected Salary:
$65,000 - $70,000; commensurate with education and experience
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- Masters degree in science or health related field. At least 3 years of experience
conducting clinical research. - Experience conducting walking assessments and cognitive assessments in older adults.
- Experience leading phone screening, informed consent, scheduling, and regulatory
management of a federally funded clinical trial. - Formal education/training in neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and biomechanics.
