Cary Medical Center is seeking a dependable and motivated Per Diem Nutritional Services Technician to join our dedicated Nutritional Services team. In this role, you’ll perform a variety of essential food service tasks that help ensure our patients, staff, and visitors receive quality meals in a clean, welcoming environment.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Operates the dish machine following proper procedure. Checks and records temperature.
• Sets up tray line for service.
• Delivers and collects food carts and/ or trays to designated areas.
• Daily stock delivered to designated nursing units.
• Properly handles clean dishes according to safe food handling.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Ability to work unsupervised and relate professionally with other hospital staff.

Schedule:

• With consideration to our patients’ and staff needs, you may need to work on days, evenings, nights, weekends and/or holidays and may need to float to other units.
