PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Strategic Support Specialist provides systems and operational support to all cross functional teams. This role will work closely with the Director of Strategic Operations supporting the integrations of acquisitions and data integrity of internal systems.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the timely integration of external platforms and internal tools by preparing, importing and transforming data
- Timely integration of data within systems for acquisitions
- Collaborate with IT to identify and implement improvements with PensionPro
- Maintain and develop all project templates as requested.
- Consolidation of acquiring company Recordkeepers book of business
- Work with Recordkeepers to add and delete authorized users
- Document and train employees to access and navigate Recordkeeping partner websites
- Identify PensionPro capabilities and where to utilize
- Provide quality control and timely execution of PensionPro communications, including launching necessary projects
- Oversight and quality control of Process batching of Form 5558s and 8955s
- Assist in reporting and oversight of data validations/data integrity with PensionPro
- Ensure Accuracy and completeness of data in reports
- Identify and provide solutions for processes that need improvement
- Assists with the development and maintenance of project templates and SOPs
- Develop and maintain project timelines and ensure that all deadlines are met
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues
Requirements
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication
- Display keen attention to detail and possess strong organizational skills
- Time management focused adhering to deadlines and timelines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate one-on-one and in a small group with employees across the department.
- Attention to detail is of the utmost importance and requires consistently delivering error-free and accurate work
- Understanding of Retirement Plan cycles
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in retirement services and/or financial service industries a plus
- Pension Pro skills to include but not limited to creating and implementing global tasks such as reporting and launching of batch email blasts and projects
- Ability to Interpret Plan Adoption Agreement a plus
- Proficient with FT Williams and batch processing of Government Forms a plus
- Intermediate Microsoft skills to include Word, Excel, Teams required
- American Retirement Association designation a plus
REMOTE WORKING REQUIREMENTS

- Be online and available to work during designated business hours in local time zone
- Accustomed to using Microsoft Teams (or similar virtual-meeting applications) to meet with colleagues regularly on video and use the chat feature for quick communications. We utilize many Microsoft Teams features (such as Channels and file storage) for announcements, relevant conversations, and file sharing. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams is a plus
- Accustomed with file-storage and file-sharing tools such as Microsoft SharePoint
