As the Restaurant and Bar Manager for Trillium, you will lead the strategic and day-to-day operations of our dining and bar programs, driving guest satisfaction, team success, and financial performance through effective leadership, innovation, and service.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of both the restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional service and smooth coordination between      teams.
  • Supervise and support the Assistant Restaurant Manager and Assistant Bar Manager, providing guidance, feedback, and      professional development.
  • Lead menu planning and updates in collaboration with the culinary team, ensuring offerings remain fresh, profitable, and      aligned with guest preferences.
  • Develop and implement advertising and promotional strategies to generate revenue and increase guest traffic.
  • Monitor and manage budget performance, including sales tracking, expense control, and forecasting.
  • Schedule and lead regular team meetings to align departments on service standards, goals, and upcoming events.
  • Assist with hiring and reinforcing service excellence through daily leadership.
  • Step in to support floor operations during high-volume periods, including bartending, serving, or managing guest      interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements to elevate service and guest satisfaction.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  •  Previous experience managing both restaurant and bar operations, preferably in a fine dining or upscale hospitality      environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire diverse teams.
  • Proven experience in budget management, menu development, and driving revenue through promotions.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety requirements and operational best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems such as Toast preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • Food safety and alcohol service certifications are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
