Summary

The Tenant Marketing & Partnerships Lead is responsible for driving growth within Asurint’s tenant screening business through strategic marketing initiatives, content, lead generation, and partnership development. This individual serves as a subject matter expert in B2B marketing, while acting as an industry thought leader. The role has a direct and measurable impact on revenue growth by creating and executing strategies that increase brand awareness, drive qualified leads, and foster mutually beneficial partnerships.


Responsibilities

  • Researches property management market and tenant industry to identify timely and relevant topics, ensuring all content is pertinent, engaging, and aligned with prospect needs.
  • Creates compelling tenant-focused content (including case studies, webinars, email campaigns, etc.) anchored in regulatory expertise pertaining to the FCRA and housing laws.
  • Serves as an internal and external expert and thought leader on tenant screening to educate partners and internal teams.
  • Identifies opportunities, builds and manages relationships with property management software providers and real estate tech platforms to generate sales leads and co-branded campaigns.
  • Represents Asurint at industry events.
  • Joins sales and client calls as needed to help advance discussions and build relationships.
  • Works collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to stay informed on company strategy and activities and provides input as needed.
  • Maintains positive, strategic relationships with existing marketing and product channel partner counterparts.
  • Stays up to date on Asurint product releases, processes, demos, integrations, and other relevant changes.
  • Travels as needed to attend meetings, conferences, and other events.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Experience with B2B partnerships, lead generation, and marketing of regulated industry products/services is required.
  • Strong understanding of compliance (FCRA, housing law) is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, impactful messaging is required.
  • Knowledge of Pardot campaign functionality is preferred.
  • Experience with the legal/court system is preferred.
  • Experience with background screening is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required. Relevant business management systems such as general ledger, HRIS, CRM, etc. is preferred. Salesforce is required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
  • Certifications or licensure: If you do any work-related driving while at Asurint, a driver’s license and ability to maintain a driving record that is satisfactory to the company’s liability insurance carrier is required.
  • Years of tenant screening, background check or proptech experience: 5 to 7 years is required.
  • Years of experience supervising: None.

Working Conditions

  • The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of offices, including the need for general safe workplace practices with office equipment and computers, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations.
  • This position is performed remotely within the United States or in an office setting in the Cleveland, Ohio headquarters, although off-site meetings in various settings may occur.
  • Inside Asurint’s office environment, the noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
  • In a remote setting, the employee is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment, for arranging the off-site workspace in an ergonomically sound manner, and for maintaining standard Internet speeds in order to work effectively.   
  • In a remote setting, the employee is required to ensure that all equipment and records that are the property of Asurint but have been relocated to the off-site workplace, are maintained in a safe and secure manner and are used only for business purposes. 
  • The schedule is generally normal Eastern Time Zone business hours (unless otherwise communicated based on position or working location), although the employee may be required to perform work, attend meetings and events before or after normal workings hours, and occasionally on weekends and evenings. 
  • Some travel by personal automobile and a valid driver’s license may be required. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Ability to lift light objects (less than 20 pounds) and carry them short distances (20 feet or less) is required.
