JOB SUMMARY:Report to the Senior Manager, Medical Affairs. The Medical Affairs Coordinator provides direct administrative assistance to the Coastal, Medical Department Heads, and coordinates the medical credentialing process, annual reappointment, and assists with Student and Training placements.Maintain all staff and locum medical staff records including electronic database, produce a variety of documents that are well researched, accurate, and timely; and coordinate and attend meetings.Have primary working relationships with the Senior Medical Director, Coastal, Medical Department Heads, Credentials Committee, staff and locum physicians, Risk Management, Medical Staff Compensation and Recruitment, Ministry of Health, and other CoC Medical Administration/departments of Medical Affairs in other health authorities.QUALIFICATIONS:Graduation from a recognized administrative assistant/secretarial post-secondary program plus three (3) years’ of senior administrative support experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
