    HORIBA Instruments Incorporated is looking for the ideal individual to join our team as Human Resources Manager at our Piscataway, NJ office.  

    Key Responsibilities include:

    • Culture and Engagement: Educate employees on HORIBA’s philosophy, culture, policies and practices, fostering a work environment that encourages and provides for open and productive communications; consistently deliver excellent customer service and demonstrates respect, initiative, and follow-through in each encounter with internal and external customers and other business contacts.
    • Strategic Partnership: Become a key resource to employees and leadership team and collaborate with business leaders to understand key objectives and organizational challenges in order to develop and align supportive HR strategies.
    • Employee Development: Partner with leadership to establish succession planning and conduct needs analysis to determine training needs and oversee, including sourcing, developing and delivering, training programs focused on career development.
    • Talent Acquisition: Work with leadership team to identify talent needs and build plans to recruit, develop and retain key talent; oversee full recruitment cycle of sourcing, screening, selection and effectively onboarding new team members.
    • Performance Management: Support managers to establish team performance goals and identify opportunities to coach employees and create development plans to enhance employee skills performance.
    • Employee Relations: Facilitate conflict resolution and coach managers on how to effectively address and resolve complex employee matters; conduct investigations of internal/external complaints.
    • HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure company policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with local, state and national regulations; provide guidance to employees and management on interpretation and application of human resources policies, ensuring consistency and balance between company and employee concerns.
    • Compensation and Benefits: Administer compensation processes that ensure competitiveness in attracting and retaining employees and provide equity based on job requirements and employee skill-level; educate employees about health insurance and other programs and assisting employees to ensure claims are processed correctly.

     

    Key Requirements Include:

    • Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality as well as initiative.
    • Proven leadership and demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business results.
    • Possession of strong employee relations and talent management skills, as well as knowledge of local, state and federal regulations and human resources best practices.
    • 10+ plus years of progressively responsible generalist human resources experience including at least five years of on-site HR management.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ADP Workforce Now HRIS.
    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field or equivalent experience; master’s degree and HR certification a plus.
    • Some domestic travel will be required.


    Compensation Package:

    HORIBA Instruments Incorporated offers a competitive compensation package that includes a 401(k) plan with match; employee group dental, vision, life, and disability (short and long-term) paid for by the company; medical insurance, family dental and vision insurance, and supplemental life insurance available with reasonable employee contributions; employee assistance program; paid holidays, vacation, and sick time; flexible spending accounts; and educational reimbursement and commuter benefit programs.  Qualified candidates can expect to earn between $110k - $125 in this role, depending on experience.
