Southdown is the largest not-for-profit provider of care, support, and housing in Sussex. We’ve been helping people access stable accommodation, mental health and care services since 1972, now counting over 900 people as part of our team.
What you’ll be doing As our People Performance Analyst, you’ll play a key role in transforming workforce data into clear, actionable insights that support decision-making across Southdown. You’ll lead on producing monthly and ad hoc reports, support regulatory submissions, and help bring our data to life for board reporting and service contract requirements. You’ll also be instrumental in developing and maintaining our HR systems and reporting tools, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you’ll help shape how we use data to improve people performance and experience. You’ll also contribute to our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) group by providing valuable data insights. Key Responsibilities
What you’ll need for the role:- Experience analysing and drawing insight from complex data sets
- Ability to produce engaging reports that drive decision-making
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and tools like Power BI
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A curious mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
- Experience working in a social care or not-for-profit environment
- Confidence in presenting data to a range of stakeholders
- A good eye for design and formatting to make reports visually engaging
- Familiarity with workforce-related regulatory reporting (e.g., gender pay gap, ONS, NHF)
