What will you be doing?

You will be a strategic advisor to a large Wellness & Beauty client with presence across OTC, Oral Care, Wound Care and Beauty categories.  This role calls for proactive identification of business questions to address, as well as working with your client team on predefined initiatives. Working across multiple data sources, you will create meaningful stories and provide guidance on next steps and considerations for the client. We seek candidates with previous market research, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or marketing services experience, along with a keen interest in both big picture thinking and slicing and dicing data to reveal actionable insights into consumers, shoppers, retailers, and in-market performance. Must have strong analysis, storytelling, and communication skills.  

 

In this role support, you will support the brand marketing and sales teams. You will work closely with the client on analyses and insights, leveraging Circana’s best-in-class data visualization platform to evaluate POS and Consumer data.  You will be actively involved in the development and presentation of actionable insights to your client partners. You will also play a key part in supporting the training of client users on using Circana data and the Unify platform.  

Job Responsibilities

Client Insights Analysts at Circana possess and execute upon four key skill sets:

Analytic Capability: Use a systematic approach to solving problems that involve breaking it into smaller pieces, tracking the implications of situations, generating multiple alternatives, and making comparisons of potential solutions before making recommendations. Analytic and mathematical problem solving is a required skill.

Technical Savvy and Quality Control: Leverage our advanced liquid data technology solutions to develop impactful dashboards and stories that lead to key insights. Attention to details and understanding complex processes to ensure all process steps are completed and reviewed.

 

Planning, Organizing, and Communicating: Determine effort and resources required to meet objectives; able to plan, coordinate and manage resources effectively to ensure task completion. Strong communication skills and project management capabilities.

Client Focus: Consistently act with client satisfaction in mind and follow through on commitments to ensure the needs of the client are met.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with syndicated data, analytics, category management, or related fields
• Marketing and/or sales with a premier Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company or other companies using syndicated or POS data
• Demonstrated expertise in translating data and analysis into relevant implications
• Knowledge of Unify a plus
• Strong project management and process skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel)
• Able to engage in consultative manner with clients when helping solve/manage content deliverables

Location

This position can be located in the following area(s): Must be able to travel to Summit, NJ to client location   1-2 days per week as required.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.  An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000. Application deadline is 9/30/2025.
