Role Overview

The IT Engineer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining IT infrastructure for the North American affiliate businesses of the AB Dynamics Group (AB Dynamics inc., Dynamic Research inc, and Venshure Test Services). This role involves managing and supporting IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance. The IT Engineer will work closely with other departments to ensure the effective use of technology within the organization and will serve as the primary escalation point for IT support issues across all three entities.

This role will be based at DRI in Torrance CA, with occasional travel to Wixom MI, to support sister companies.

What will you be doing?

Microsoft 365 and Azure Administration
Troubleshooting internal IT issues and supporting Security and Compliance
Software patching and asset management
Setting up PC's, Laptops, and other various hardware devices
Administration both on premise and Microsoft 365
Managing Support requests and maintain high availability of business-critical systems, websites, and internal IT resources

What are we looking for?

Proven experience in IT administration, with a focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure.
Strong understanding of the Microsoft suite, including Office 365, Hyper-V, and Active Directory (Microsoft certifications are desirable).
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. - Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and administration tasks.
Experience with security best practices and tools, such as firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
Good communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills
