Job Description:

Advisory and research role for Louisiana Sea Grant including work with commercial federal shrimp industry, alligator industry, and crawfish industry. Provide institutional knowledge, partnerships, and feedback with research needs across these coastal communities.

Job Responsibilities

Provide advice and/or training to Sea Grant on education programs, competitive research projects, and the commercial fishing industries. (35%)

Facilitate coordination between Louisiana Sea Grant with partners and federal agencies with the Better Bycatch Reduction project. (35%)

Work with director to explore MEP needs. Assist in projects like videos to capture institutional knowledge. (30%)

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree and 10 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree and 30 years of experience with the Louisiana crawfish, alligator, and shrimp industries.
