iProspect is looking for a Senior Platforms, Commerce, Buyer who has a desire to learn multiple digital media disciplines. As a Senior Buyer, Platforms & Commerce, you will lead the execution and optimization of digital media campaigns across Search, Social, and Commerce platforms for top-tier Canadian clients. You will serve as a strategic partner to clients and internal teams, driving innovation, performance, and growth. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, leadership capabilities, and a passion for digital media.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Execution & Leadership
Lead the development and execution of advanced Search and Paid Social strategies.
Provide strategic recommendations that align with client business objectives and market trends.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Performance Optimization
Analyze campaign performance and implement optimizations to improve ROI and efficiency.
Ensure accurate pacing and budget management across multiple accounts.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a senior point of contact for clients, providing insights, recommendations, and performance updates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated media solutions.
Innovation & Best Practices
Identify and implement new features, tools, and processes to enhance campaign performance.
Stay current with industry trends and platform updates, sharing knowledge across the team.
Reporting & Insights
Oversee the creation and delivery of campaign performance reports.
Translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
Post-secondary degree in Media, Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in digital media planning and buying, with a focus on Search, Social, Display, and Programmatic.
Proven ability to manage complex campaigns and client relationships.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in media tools and platforms (Google Ads, Meta, Bing, etc.).
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience mentoring or leading junior team members.
Certifications in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and familiarity with eCommerce and retail media platforms are a plus.
Additional information
The salary range for this position is $60k-$65k. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
