The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy in Jefferson City, MO as a Continuous Improvement Leader and be a driving force behind transformational change in our manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll lead initiatives that enhance safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost performance across the factory value chain. You’ll work with passionate teams, apply proven Lean methodologies, and help shape a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Lead and facilitate Kaizen events to optimize key performance indicators.
Partner with cross-functional teams to eliminate waste and improve processes.
Drive adoption and maturity of the Integrated Transformer Management (ITM) system.
Coach and train teams on Lean tools and methods.
Promote a culture of accountability and employee engagement.
Lead cost-out projects and support others in their execution.
Support visual management, standard work, TPM, and daily management practices.
Champion safety and integrity in all aspects of the role.

Your Background

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, materials management, or process improvement.
Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.
Proven track record of delivering impactful results.
Skilled in influencing teams and challenging conventional approaches.
Experience with ITM, TPS, DBS, HOS, or similar systems.
