About the Role

As a Paranoids Enablement and Platforms Engineer on the Cyber Experience team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our business units receive top-notch experience and support when engaging with Paranoids' security processes and products. You'll spend half your time immersed in platform engineering, supporting our product development on critical platforms like Jira, JSM, Github and Looker. The other half will focus on process support, triaging security reviews and providing direct assistance to our customers.

What you’ll do day-to-day

  • Platform Administration

    • Configure, maintain, and optimize core Paranoids platforms, including Jira, JSM (Jira Service Management), and Looker.

    • Ensure the stability, performance, and security of these critical tools that power our product development and internal operations.

  • Process Improvement & Support

    • Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and security to identify areas of inefficiency and implement enhancements that streamline workflows, processes, and reporting.

    • Triage and manage security review requests, providing direct support to our customers.

  • Customization & Automation

    • Design, develop, and implement complex Jira workflows, screens, fields, permissions, and automation rules to support Paranoids' evolving requirements.

    • Leverage APIs to integrate platforms and automate routine tasks, improving data flow and reducing manual effort.

  • Expertise & Customer Focus

    • Become an expert on Paranoid's services and products, using this knowledge to make customer-based recommendations that improve processes and overall experience.

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, utilizing your technical writing skills.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in Atlassian tool administration (Jira, JSM, Confluence).

  • Experience with Looker, or other BI tools, for data visualization and reporting.

  • Proficiency in working with APIs for system integrations and automation.

  • Familiarity with MySQL for database querying and management.

  • Basic front-end development skills (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) for customizing interfaces.

  • Proficient in a programming language like Python or Ruby.

  • Demonstrated technical writing skills for creating clear and concise documentation.

  • Comfortable using Google Suite Products for collaboration and productivity.
