We believe in the advancement of the veterinary industry, and we support and encourage our staff to do the same. Memorial Drive Vet Clinic is seeking an experienced veterinary technician ready to take their skills and knowledge to the next level. Requirements
    • 2+ years of veterinary technician experience
    • Experience with medication calculations and administration
    • Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
    • Knowledge of proper animal handling/restraint techniques
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Compassion for our clients and their pets
    • Team player willing to continue their education
Veterinary technician daily responsibilities:
  • Assisting our doctors with procedures and appointments,
  • monitoring and observing patient status,
  • administering treatment to patients as directed by the veterinarian,
  • maintaining a clean environment for ourselves, other team members, and our patients,
  • helping with equipment maintenance and clinic inventory.
  • You will also occasionally help the client service team by taking messages for the doctors as needed, calling clients for patient updates, collecting records from other veterinary clinics, checking in patients, processing payments, scheduling appointments, and preparing exam rooms or other clinical space for appointments.
