- 2+ years of veterinary technician experience
- Experience with medication calculations and administration
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Knowledge of proper animal handling/restraint techniques
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Compassion for our clients and their pets
- Team player willing to continue their education
- Assisting our doctors with procedures and appointments,
- monitoring and observing patient status,
- administering treatment to patients as directed by the veterinarian,
- maintaining a clean environment for ourselves, other team members, and our patients,
- helping with equipment maintenance and clinic inventory.
- You will also occasionally help the client service team by taking messages for the doctors as needed, calling clients for patient updates, collecting records from other veterinary clinics, checking in patients, processing payments, scheduling appointments, and preparing exam rooms or other clinical space for appointments.
