Purpose of the role

This position is responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained workplace. The role holder will lead all Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) initiatives, alongside managing the site's facilities. This involves implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, overseeing building maintenance and operations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and procedures to support the organization's core functions.

HSSE Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring, inspecting, and providing guidance on safety, security, health, and environmental initiatives and activities.

• Conduct and/or coordinate quarterly and annual audits and risk assessments with the on-site S&R team.

• Coordinate monthly Gemba walks with the Management/Leadership team.

• Lead teams in conducting weekly safety near-miss reviews and toolbox talks, and report on KPIs.

• Conduct weekly HSSE briefings with the on-site team.

• Perform quarterly monitoring and inspection of firefighting and automated alarm/detection systems to ensure they are operating smoothly.

• Lead various projects with the landlord and suppliers.

• Monitor and inspect the performance of security guards to ensure compliance with SOPs.

Facility Management:

• Manage the optimal use of facility accommodations, furniture, equipment, and supporting services to maintain a safe and orderly workplace.

• Ensure the proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance, including planning for maintenance and replacement, property management, and handling insurance and supply arrangements.

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations.

• Responsible for the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of the organization's buildings, facilities, machinery, and equipment.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree

Professional Qualification/Certification:

• Professional certification in Warehousing or Logistics is preferred.

Experience & Skills:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Good English communication skills (written and verbal).

• Flexible, team-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with people at all levels.

• Strong safety and security mindset.
