UX Student Assistant – Designing with AI

As a User Experience Student Assistant, you will support the development of user experiences in our IT solutions for our operator colleagues at Maersk. You’ll work with a larger team of UX designers and researchers, gaining hands-on experience in designing interfaces and interactions that leverage artificial intelligence to improve usability, efficiency, and decision-making.

This is a unique opportunity to explore how AI can enhance design processes and user experiences, while learning how to design responsibly and ethically for intelligent systems.

Day-to-Day Could Look Like:

• Collaborating with UX designers to explore how AI can enhance user workflows and decision-making

• Supporting research into user needs and behaviors in AI-driven environments

• Assisting in ideating and creating rapid prototypes

• Helping test and evaluate designs with real users

• Engaging with our global UX community to share insights and learnings on designing with AI

We Are Looking for Someone Who Is:

• Passionate about a career in User Experience Design or Research, with curiosity about AI and emerging technologies

• Enrolled in a relevant digital design education at AAU, DTU, ITU or similar

• Interested in how data and AI can inform and enhance design decisions

• Familiar with usability methods and user interaction design

• Knowledge of AI UX design tools or curious to learn about them

• Fluent in English, written and spoken

Location and Hours

You will work at our headquarters in Esplanaden, Copenhagen.
The workload will be approximately 20 hours/week. (We are very flexible during exam periods)
