Purpose of the role 

The position holder will be part of an Operations function within Global Blue covering Processing of Tax Free Forms, Customer Service, Refund Payments and other back office operations.

The focus of this role is on execution, verification, recording and control of daily activities related to global payments and charges combining bank transfers, cash transfers to credit cards and Alipay, issuing cheques on behalf of Global Blue and external parties in defined quality and SLA in various currencies towards travellers globally.

Responsibilities 

Identifies the major activities/responsibilities of the position and statements that clarify key areas where the position must produce key results.  

  • Execute, monitor and reconcile the refund payments (bank transfers, transfers to credit cards and Alipay, issuing cheques) on behalf of Global Blue and external parties
  •  Execute, monitor and  reconcile the debit orders and reversals against credit card companies
  •  Keep defined SLA and KPI on track for processes within given responsibility
  •  Report and escalate errors and transaction failures
  •  Provide all inputs necessary for Accounting & Treasury
  •  Enhance departmental policies and procedures (job aids, process maps)
  •  Anticipate internal/external business issues; recommend process or service improvements related to optimization of payment channels
  •  Assist in projects and system implementations
  •  Interact with internal and external stakeholders and maintain active relationships
  •  Take ownership of any ad-hoc requests

Additional: Division of work in percentage (please note that this is subject to change depending on business):  

  • Administration – [70%] 
  • Reports Management – [30%] 

Main KPI’s 

  • On Time refund - Refunding is the main purpose of the company and our primary target is to process 97,5% of non-cash transactions on time

Skills 

  • Fluent communication in English – advanced level of verbal and written communication (B1 level)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Communication skills – the ability to express oneself effectively both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications and education requirements 

  • 1 year of experience with above mentioned activities
