Job Details:

This position is responsible for ensure facility is producing products with in governmental and customer specifications.

In the absence of a FSQA Technician this position will provide support to the role by being responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting and calculating results accurately; take corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and reporting results to management. Other duties may include monitoring general processing procedures of all sanitation monitoring and verifications [pre-operational and operational], HACCP/SSOP monitoring and verification functions, net weight verification, label and packaging verification, product formulation, and correct code date verification recording all pertinent data and information on Q.A. forms accurately and legibly, reporting all deficiencies timely and accurately to the QC supervisor and other duties as assigned.

***Team member will remain assigned to FSQA even when they are not working as a FSQA Technician. The team member will report to production when not being used by FSQA. Applicants will receive premium pay when working the FSQA position.

FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS. KEEPING WORK AREA CLEAN. COMMUNICATING EFFECTIVELY BOTH ORALLY, AND IN WRITING ORGANIZE, AND PRIORITIZE TASKS, TO ENSURE WORK IS COMPLETE, AND CORRECT. STANDING, WALKING, LIFTING, BENDING, REACHING, STOOPING, AND CLIMBING. WORKING INSIDE, ON SLIPPERY SURFACES, AROUND MOVING OBJECTS, IN HIGH HUMIDITY, POSSIBLY IN HIGH PLACES, AND/OR IN CRAMPED WORKING QUARTERS. WORKING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS. ALL MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES, AS ASSIGNED. MUSCULAR / SKELETAL REQUIREMENTS: GOOD MANIPULATION OF HANDS, ARMS, LEGS, AND FEET. CAPABLE OF LIFTING 40 LBS. CAPABLE OF STANDING/WALKING FOR 3 TO 4 HOURS AT A TIME.

EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCIAL REQUIREMENTS:

A.  HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT.

B.  BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS.

C.  ABLE TO MEET ESSENTIAL JOB FUCHTIONS FOR THIS JOB CLASSIFICATION.

POSSESS BASIC MATHEMATICAL SKILLS, ABILITY TO READ AND WRITE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS REQUIRED, BOTH WRITTEN AND VERBAL MUST HAVE GOOD PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS
