Job Description

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

Client & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a key point of contact for institutional clients, managing complex queries and ensuring timely, high-quality responses independently
  • Attend and contribute to client meetings, providing local market insights and post-meeting follow-ups to drive engagement and retention.
  • Proactively identify client needs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored investment solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.

Sales Strategy & Pipeline Contribution

  • Partner with senior sales leads to develop and execute account strategies and sales plans.
  • Track and analyze sales pipeline activity, contributing to forecasting and opportunity prioritization.
  • Support pre- and post-meeting preparation, including briefing notes, investment proposals, and follow-up actions.

Market Research & Intelligence

  • Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to support strategic positioning and client conversations.
  • Monitor regulatory, macroeconomic, and industry trends across SEA markets to inform sales strategy.

Project & Initiative Management

  • Lead or support cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing client experience, operational efficiency, or sales effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement in RFP/DDQ processes, ensuring alignment with client expectations and brand positioning.  Work with the various internal stakeholders, Investment team, RFP team, marketing, compliance etc to address each unique RFP requirements

Marketing & Thought Leadership

  • Collaborate with marketing to tailor and distribute thought leadership content to clients.
  • Coordinate client events, webinars, and campaigns to deepen engagement and showcase Invesco’s capabilities.

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of the institutional ecosystems in SEA countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, etc.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of investments across a wide menu of offerings: public equities, public fixed income, and alternatives.
  • Experience in client-facing roles and managing complex client queries.
  • Familiarity with RFP processes and institutional sales documentation.
  • Experience in interacting with senior investment professionals within the asset management industry

  • Team player with a history of being able to accomplish tasks independently.
  • Strong multi-tasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop a keen understanding of the institutional marketplace.
  • Hands-on experience with relationship management technologies and CRM systems.
  • Professional demeanor and confidence in client-facing situations.

Formal Education:

  • College graduate with keen interest in investments
  • Finance/Economics degree with interest to pursue practical application in the field
  • MAS registered representative required
