Anglicare is seeking a Senior Clinical Facilitator to join our team permanently and support our care services. This role ensures the delivery of training programs that meet regulatory standards, foster continuous learning, and drive high-quality care outcomes.

You will assist our nurses in developing their clinical knowledge and skills in geriatric nursing, acting as a professional role model to enhance learning experiences and integrate theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Reporting to the Executive General Manager of Clinical Governance, you will be crucial in setting up and delivering a new Registered Nurse and frontline nurse program. This role offers the opportunity to inspire others and improve resident care by educating and mentoring the next generation of clinical care leaders.

Your opportunity

You will deliver excellence in education across our care services, requiring travel to Anglicare Sydney’s care sites for training and stakeholder engagement.

With integrity and resilience, you will:

  • Create engaging, evidence-based clinical and non-clinical training materials.

  • Design customized assessment tools and learning pathways to meet the needs of RNs, ensuring all content reflects current clinical standards and compliance requirements, providing clinical supervision at the point of care within everyday clinical practice, in line with Anglicare’s Policies and Procedures and Decision-Making Frameworks for Nurses.

  • Ensure training materials align with regulatory, accreditation, best clinical practice and professional standards.

  • Continuously review and update programs to maintain relevance and effectiveness.

  • Play a key role in the ongoing professional development of nurses, helping to ensure that they are up-to-date with the latest knowledge and skills needed to deliver high-quality care.

  • Deliver training to meet aged care’s policies and procedure outcomes, aligning them with training objectives and best practices.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training is aligned with best practice.

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support training goals.

  • Provide ongoing guidance and training for workplace trainers and assessors, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery.

  • Utilise data-driven insights to assess and enhance training effectiveness.

  • Adapt programs to cater to a diverse workforce while reflecting Anglicare's core values.

  • Efficiently manage training schedules, resources, and budgets, and actively engage in team performance management.

  • Lead and mentor the RNs, Care Managers, Care Coordinators and frontline teams, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in learning development, use of various adult learning principles for clinical facilitation utilising a range of teaching methods to support nurses learning needs ability to use reflective practice, critical thinking to create and support professional development needs of our new nurse leaders.

  • Strong ability to design and deliver effective education programs, ensuring high-quality learning outcomes.

  • Expertise in learning strategy development, instructional design, facilitation, Learning Management Systems (LMS), leadership development, and engagement.

  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with experience training diverse audiences including to groups where English is a second language

  • Superior relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills.

You will also need:

  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration and no notations.

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116).

  • At least 5 years of clinical experience

  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering aged care education programs.

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Preferred experience teaching at TAFE /University (EN,AIN ,Bachelor of Nursing courses )
