JOB MISSION:

The EMEA HR Operations Manager is broad role that is responsible for managing and delivering a best in class HR support to the EMEA business through administrative service and system support. The role will manage a shared service team and will co-ordinate the activities relating to associate lifecycle, in conjunction with the wider HR team. In addition, this role will be responsible for the accuracy of the HRIS (Workday).

This role is fixed term for 12 months and is based in our Warrington office. We offer hybrid working and flexibility of working hours to accommodate for a healthy work-life balance. This role requires you to be in the office 3 days each week.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

HR Operations & Team Management

  • Manage a team who will be responsible for all administrative tasks for countries in remit and drive an effective and efficient, best in class shared service function, implementing and ensuring delivery of SLA’s where required
  • Carry out process improvements where needed in line with local market compliance and GDPR
  • Ensure Onboarding and Offboarding process is adhered to including creating contracts, reference checks, IT process, payroll and Workday
  • Utilise employment law knowledge to meet business needs and ensure consistent, fair and accurate application
  • Work collaboratively with HR Managers and Business Partners to ensure work is completed by the right team at the right time
  • Plans for, and executes against, regional HR strategy
  • Ensure all associate files are stored in a compliant manner with GDPR
  • Lead, develop and motivate the team
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with wider HR team, local/regional/global stakeholders and external partners
  • Undertake and manage projects whilst understanding local legislation and nuances

HRIS

  • Maintain Workday system with current, accurate information ensuring consistency across the region
  • Regularly run reports to ensure system accuracy and compliance
  • Provide training on Workday to team and/or business where required
  • Manage the electronic signature provider/system for Europe, implementing automation where possible

KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Experience working across multiple European countries is essential
  • Previous management/supervisory experience, ideally inclusive of remote management
  • Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Analytical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Highest levels of integrity and professional credibility
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workload and multi task
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships with others in person and remotely
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, both verbal and written
  • Results driven - follows through to conclusion on all projects/commitments to agreed deadlines
  • Ability to be proactive, use initiative and work independently
