Role Overview:

As the IT Manager at Function Health, you’ll own and operate the systems, processes, and team that keep our workforce productive, secure, and compliant. You’ll lead IT operations, manage vendors, and ensure we meet security requirements across devices, accounts, and infrastructure. This role balances strategic leadership with a willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed.
You’ll partner closely with Security, People Ops, and Engineering to ensure onboarding, access control, and device management are consistent, automated, and auditable. You’ll also oversee IT support delivery, setting standards for responsiveness and technical quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy

Lead the IT function, including daily operations, roadmap planning, and team development.
Define and track IT KPIs, SLAs, and compliance metrics.
Drive continuous improvement in IT processes with a focus on automation, scalability, and security alignment.
Act as primary liaison between IT, Security, and other business units for technology needs and initiatives.

Operational Management

Oversee IT onboarding and offboarding workflows, ensuring timely and secure provisioning/deprovisioning across all systems.
Maintain company-wide device and asset management
Ensure consistent enforcement of access controls, MFA, and least privilege, in partnership with Security.
Manage IT support delivery, including ticket triage, escalation handling, and end-user satisfaction.

Systems & Vendor Oversight

Own administration and lifecycle management for core SaaS platforms (MDM, SSO, collaboration tools, productivity suite).
Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, and renewals
Oversee integrations between HRIS, identity, and asset systems to reduce manual effort and risk.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure IT operations meet security and regulatory requirements, including access reviews, device compliance, and incident documentation.
Maintain and publish IT runbooks, process documentation, and user-facing guides.
Partner with Security on audits, evidence gathering, and remediation of IT-related findings.

Qualifications:

5+ years in IT roles, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
Strong knowledge of SaaS administration, identity and access management, and device management
Proven ability to manage IT support operations with empathy, urgency, and clear SLAs.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA) and related IT control requirements.
Experience managing vendors, budgets, and cross-functional initiatives.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Bonus: Scripting or automation experience, and familiarity with GCP and Okta.
